Novalja // 15 km away - The city of Novalja is famous for its nightlife and wide range of parties. The Zrce party beach is a popular party zone in Croatia and attracts guests from all over the world. Biokovo Nature Park - Biokovo Nature Park covers Biokovo mountain range in Dalmatia region. Nature park was proclaimed in 1981. within the area of 195,5 km2. The highest peak of the nature park, Sv. Jure (1762 m above sea level), is also third highest peak in Croatia. The main entrance in Biokovo Nature Park is located on 6th kilometer of Makarska-Vrgorac road (Staza), where Biokovo mountain road begins. Biokovo Nature Park Presentation Center is located in Gornja Brela and during the summer months is open to visitors every day in the morning. The Presentation Center is also the starting point of educational trail “Paths of ancient Berulia” an nearby educational trail “Sridivice”.

River Cetina - the Cetina river (101 km long from the source to the mouth) lower course begins from the Gubavica Falls, at 49 metres above sea level, near the village of Zadvarje, only 4 kilometres from Gornja Brela. Activities include zipline, canyoning, kayaking or rafting, long walks by the river and sightseeing river boats.
